Your Safety, Satisfaction and Health comes first for Pinkheart Homecare Assistance!

At the very beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2020, Pinkheart Homecare Assistance began its operations in Lincoln city of, California, caring for the elderly population in Sun City Lincoln Hills. Despite the widespread disease, we did not stop assisting seniors who were in urgent need of care during their battle with illnesses or needed a caregiver to be their companion during the tough time of Corona pandemic.

Taking strong Covid-19 spread prevention and following OSHA California standards and CDC, Pinkheart Private Homecare in Lincoln offered care services such as personal care, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, help with hospital back-to-home, dementia care, and Alzheimer's care.

Our Covid-19 prevention procedure is as follows:

  • Face coverings

  • Cleaning and disinfecting

  • Covid-19 Testing

  • Exclusion of employees with COVID-19. The requirements for employees who test positive can return to work after 5 days if the employee has a negative test, symptoms are improving, and they wear a face covering at work for an additional 5 days. Otherwise, most employees can return after 10 days. (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 8, § 3205(c)(10)).

  • Outbreaks. Employees with close contacts must test negative or be excluded from the workplace until the return to work requirements for COVID-19 cases are met. (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 8, § 3205.1(b)(2)(C))

  • Physical Distancing. is used in a major outbreak (20 or more employees in an exposed group) for all employees, regardless of vaccination status, except when an employer demonstrates that maintaining six feet of distance is not feasible. When it is not feasible to keep six feet of distance, persons must be as far apart as feasible.

Pinkheart Homecare Team showed maximum hard work in recognizing the signs of loneliness for Suncity Lincoln Hills seniors during the Covid-19 Pandemic. In the past years, a common challenge for many residential facilities and families was caring for older adults living in respite care and nursing facilities with maintaining minimum contact between residents and staff to prevent Corona spread. Statistically, half of older adults living in nursing or residential facilities are cognitively impaired. Pinkheart Homecare Assistance helped numerous families choose homecare over the high contact and risk of facilities in which their environment made elders feel isolated. Pinkheart care managers and caregivers were agile in understanding clients and their families—especially the portion of clients grappling with Dementia. For Pinkheart senior clients struggling with Dementia and Alzheimer's, it was required to identify traits in behavior such as agitation, sudden sadness, or new-onset confusion that could indicate worsening symptoms of Dementia. Using our creative ways, we helped the elderly maintain independence in the comfort of their homes.
